Who are 33Cocoa?
33Cocoa is a family-run artisan chocolate and natural nut butter brand based in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
From our chocolate and nut butter studio, we create small-batch chocolates, smooth natural nut butters, and dessert-inspired blends using carefully selected ingredients, thoughtful flavour pairings, and a love for beautiful food experiences.
Are your products handmade?
Indeed — our products are made in small batches with plenty of care and attention.
Our chocolates are handcrafted from moulding and decorating to filling, finishing, and packing. Our nut butters are made using slow-roasted nuts and carefully refined to create rich, smooth, flavour-led blends.
Where are your products made?
All our products are made at our chocolate and nut butter studio in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
We are a small, founder-led brand, so every batch is made with care, consistency, and attention to detail.
Ingredients & Allergens
What ingredients do you use in your chocolates?
We use premium Belgian couverture chocolate, chosen for its smooth texture, beautiful finish, and rich flavour.
Depending on the product, our chocolates may also include ingredients such as exotic nuts, freeze-dried fruits, vanilla, caramelised inclusions, cream, butter, or other carefully selected flavour additions.
You’ll find the full ingredient list and allergen information on each product page.
What ingredients do you use in your nut butters?
Our nut butters are made with slow-roasted nuts and simple, carefully chosen ingredients.
Depending on the flavour, this may include dates, cocoa powder, vanilla, espresso, pea protein, and Himalayan pink salt.
We do not add refined sugar, added oils, preservatives, or unnecessary additives to our nut butter range.
Are your products suitable for people with allergies?
Please check the ingredient and allergen information on each product page before ordering.
Our products are made in a space that handles common allergens, including nuts, peanuts, milk, gluten, soya, and other ingredients. While some products may be made without certain allergens in the recipe, we cannot guarantee they are free from traces.
If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before placing an order so we can advise as clearly as possible.
Are your chocolates gluten-free?
Some of our chocolates are made without gluten-containing ingredients. However, they are produced in a shared environment where gluten may be present, so we cannot guarantee they are gluten-free.
Please check the individual product page for the most accurate ingredient and allergen information.
Do you offer vegan options?
Yes, we offer selected products that are made without animal-derived ingredients, including some dark chocolate products and our natural nut butter range.
Please note that our products are made in a shared environment where milk and other allergens are handled, so traces may be present. Always check the product page before ordering.
Do you offer nut-free chocolates?
Some chocolates may be made without nuts in the recipe, but our studio handles nuts and peanuts regularly. For this reason, we cannot guarantee any product is nut-free.
If you have a nut allergy, please contact us before ordering.
Are your products organic?
Not all of our products are organic. We focus on quality, flavour, and carefully selected ingredients.
Where a product contains organic ingredients, this will be clearly stated on the product page.
Nut Butters & Natural Blends
What makes your nut butters different?
Our nut butters are made in small batches using slow-roasted nuts and clean, simple ingredients.
They are designed to feel naturally indulgent — from ultra-smooth everyday nut butters to dessert-inspired blends like Sticky Toffee Pudding and Chocolate Brownie.
No refined sugar. No added oils. No unnecessary extras. Just beautiful ingredients, carefully blended.
Do your nut butters contain refined sugar?
Absolutely No! We would never add refined sugar to our natural nut butter range.
In fact, some flavours are naturally sweetened with dried-fruits such as dates, giving them a rich, dessert-like flavour without refined sugar.
Do your nut butters contain added oils eg. Palm Oil?
Absolutely No! We do not add oils to our nut butters.
Any natural oils you see come from the nuts themselves — which is exactly how we like it.
Why has oil separated in my nut butter?
Natural oil separation is completely normal in nut butters made without added stabilisers or emulsifiers.
It is simply a sign that we haven’t added anything unnecessary. Give it a good stir, and it’s ready to enjoy.
How should I store my nut butter?
Store your nut butter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Once opened, keep the lid tightly closed and always use a clean spoon. Please check the label for the best before date and any product-specific storage guidance.
How can I enjoy nut butters?
Spoon them over porridge, swirl into yoghurt, drizzle over pancakes, spread on toast, blend into smoothies, pair with fruit, or enjoy straight from the spoon.
Our dessert-inspired blends are especially lovely with ice cream, warm toast, overnight oats, or as a little after-dinner treat.
Chocolates
Do you make your chocolate from cocoa beans?
No, we are not bean-to-bar chocolate makers.
We work with premium Belgian couverture chocolate, which is high-quality chocolate with a higher cocoa butter content. This gives our chocolates their smooth texture, elegant finish, and luxurious melt.
From there, we create our own flavour pairings, fillings, inclusions, designs, and finished products by hand.
How should I store my chocolates?
Store your chocolates in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and strong odours.
Ideally, keep them between 15–18°C. We do not recommend refrigerating chocolates, as this can affect their texture, shine, and flavour.
How long do your chocolates last?
Shelf life varies depending on the product.
As a guide, many of our chocolates are best enjoyed within 2–3 months, while fresh filled chocolates may have a shorter shelf life.
Please check the best before date on your packaging and enjoy them at their freshest.
Do you use preservatives in your chocolates?
No, we do not add preservatives to any of our products.
They are made in small batches, so we always recommend enjoying them within the best before date for the best flavour, texture, and freshness.
Ordering, Delivery & Collection
How soon will my order be dispatched?
We usually aim to dispatch orders within 2–4 working days.
During busy seasons, warm weather, or for larger orders, processing may take a little longer. Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number so you can follow its journey.
What delivery options do you offer?
We always aim to send orders using UK Tracked 24, so your parcel can be followed once it leaves our chocolate and nut butter studio.
Your tracking number will be sent to you when your order is dispatched. Delivery costs are shown at checkout, and free delivery may be available on qualifying orders where stated.
Do you post chocolates during warm weather?
Yes, we do — but we take extra care during warmer periods.
Because chocolate is sensitive to heat, we may adjust our dispatch days and send orders on cooler days where possible, to help your chocolates arrive in the best condition. This may occasionally add a little extra processing time, but it is done with care to protect your order.
If you would still like your order dispatched on a specific date or during very warm weather, we can do our best to arrange this, but please note that this would be at the customer’s own risk once the parcel leaves our studio.
Once dispatched, your tracking number will be sent to you so you can follow your parcel’s journey.
Do you offer local collection?
Absolutely, we have free collection available from our chocolate and nut butter studio in Bicester, Oxfordshire, by arrangement.
Please select the local pickup option at checkout where available, and we will contact you with collection details once your order is ready for pickup.
Do you ship internationally?
At the moment, we only ship within the United Kingdom.
Can I order your products as gifts?
Absolutely. Our chocolates and nut butters make beautiful gifts for birthdays, thank-yous, celebrations, corporate gifting, and thoughtful little treats.
Where available, you can add a gift message or choose gift-ready packaging at checkout.
Can I add a personalised message?
Yes, where the option is available at checkout.
Please enter your message carefully, as it will be included with your order.
